The daffodils are out at Kentmere Farm Pods in the Lake District

Three days of bright sunshine on the farm and it feels like spring has really arrived.The wild daffodils are just opening up in the orchard and the tulips are sprouting. I love this time of year. Whilst blossoms are already out in Staveley, everything is just waking up here on the farm with buds starting to shoot, so the trees have a pale shimmer of colour where the tips are just changing. A real promise of the wonderful blooms and colours to come..
